It specifically targets professional and practical ‘roadblocks’ preventing business growth and success.

The P Word is supported by Punch and leadership experts CREME (The Centre For Research In Ethnicity Minority Entrepreneurship) - and connects directly into tiered business programmes offered by Aston University Business school. THE “P” WORD offers bespoke leadership training, mentoring, commissioning and development for creative entrepreneurs seeking to amplify their practice and business. THE “P” WORD is designed to be relevant, bespoke and co-designed with professional artists and SMEs.

In this 6 month programme, participants will gain knowledge on the following:

• Learn how to manage finances & business obligations

• Address practical issues in a facilitated group setting

• Learn how to build modern, effective and sustainable partnerships

• Receive one-to-one support to overcome professional roadblocks

• Build your leadership skills and strengthen your professional resilience

• Engage with specialist coaching from creative peers who have transformed their practice

• Deepen your understanding of the arts sector in the region

• Improve your confidence and personal agency in taking opportunities

• Explore and develop your long-term vision and strategic planning

• Have access to essential facilities and resources at PUNCH’s offices

• Pitch for external investment and sponsorship

• Work towards sustainable, growth-focused creative practice
