Community Routes Commissions are back for a second year, giving our 2026 alumni the chance to turn an idea into something real.
Last year, we backed five new projects created by Community Routes artists. This year, we’re doing it again.
You can pitch for £1,000 to develop & deliver your own creative project. It could be an event, performance, exhibition, content series, creative campaign, new body of work or something we haven’t thought of yet.
We’re looking for exciting ideas that feel true to you and give you an opportunity to take your creative practice further.

We're looking for something achievable that gives you the opportunity to try something new, develop your practice and take a meaningful next step in your creative career. Applications are open exclusively to Community Routes alumni. Tell us about your idea, what inspired it, how you would make it happen and why this commission would be important to you right now.
