PUNCH is constantly investing in authentic young artists through our robust commissioning process and our annual music and arts festival, BASS. PUNCH has over a decade of experience building bold, creative, productive and fulfilling work with artists, venues and investors.
PUNCH commissions over fifty culturally diverse artists each year, including musicians, visual artists, dancers, performers, filmmakers and songwriters. Our partnerships with online platforms bring commissioned artists to a global audience, with over three thousand hours of content viewed last year.

PUNCH produces an annual programme of accessible, contemporary works by culturally diverse artists. We produce a range of events and tours that showcase the breakthrough potential of early career artists and explore the legacy of black music icons.
PUNCH’s recent productions feature partnerships with the BRITISH COUNCIL, BFI, OXFORD UNIVERSITY and GRM DAILY, with artists including AMERIE, ANGIE STONE, JULIAN MARLEY, KRS ONE and SHAKKA. PUNCH events reached a global audience of 50k in 2016.
PUNCH is a recognised national leader in developing and delivering programs which creatively engage culturally diverse young people. Our award-winning programmes emphasise hands-on learning, on-line interactivity, real-world outcomes and transferable skills.
PUNCH’s recent engagement wins include delivering successful creative residencies, bootcamps, work experience programmes and showcase performances in partnership with GLOBAL RADIO, the BIRMINGHAM MELA and LONDON LIVE. Over 800 young emerging artists have graduated from PUNCH programmes since 2014.
